A Proper Table is all about custom table linens and setting your table with an easy, every day elegance. All linens are handmade by my mom, Betty Plott, in her home in North Carolina. Currently, we offer place mats, dinner napkins, cocktail napkins, crocheted napkin rings and fabric boxes. We hope to include table runners, table cloths, and pot holders in the future.
The print fabrics that are currently available range from a fun, easy breakfast setting to a classic, elegant dinner party. The place mats are 18 inches by 14 inches. The dinner napkins feature deep, 2 inch mitered corners and are 19 inches by 19 inches. The cocktail napkins also feature deep, mitered corners and are 6 inches by 6 inches . The cocktail napkins can also include a one letter monogram for an additional charge. The napkin rings are made using 2" wooden rings and can be embellished with beads, crystals, or buttons. The fabric boxes are custom made in the size and color of your choice. They can be used for storing your linens or as a unique gift box.
All napkins and place mats are made from 100% premium quality cotton. The solid fabrics are made from Kona cotton. They are all machine washable in cold water and dry on a medium temperature. You can iron them if you would like, but for a lot of them, ironing is not necessary as long as you promptly remove them from the dryer.
